THE MOVEMENT BEHIND THE FILM

At the heart of the film is FreeFrom – a national survivor-led organization building a world free from gender-based violence, where everyone can live to their full potential.

Since 2016, FreeFrom has been transforming how society responds to GBV – through survivor-led programs, systems change, policy advocacy, and our social enterprise, GIFTED.

GIFTED began as a pilot in three shelters and has since grown into a thriving marketplace driven by living wages, entrepreneurial autonomy, and the belief that healing is inevitable when survivors have what they need.

SURVIVORS

“When I Started FreeFrom, I had a simple idea: survivors make incredible entrepreneurs. They have the necessity, resilience, and determination needed to succeed—skills survivors have in abundance.”

The Survivor Made Team

ASK.

SURVIVOR MADE was created by a team of survivors and everyone involved was paid a living wage. The film is set in Gifted, a survivor-owned marketplace, where 100% of each purchase goes directly to survivors. Gifted is one of many initiatives powered by FreeFrom, a national organization transforming the way our society addresses gender-based violence so that survivors have what they need in order to thrive.

Stay in touch to spread the love! Stay tuned to rock the merch and share the Survivor Made story far and wide so your people can catch a screening, stream the film, and amplify the movement. This year, make your holiday shopping count with Gifted—where every purchase shows your recipients what survivor thriving truly looks like. Bonus: Gift Abundantly year-round! Every dollar you spend directly invests in survivors of gender-based violence—100% goes to survivors, every time. Keep coming back to Gifted for bulk orders and even bigger impact. Want to do more? Power initiatives that build survivor wealth by making a tax-deductible donation to FreeFrom—because everyone has a role in ending gender-based violence.
